Birthday Tulips

The Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge this week contains Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron.

I love purple, so I definitely had to play along with this one!
I heat embossed these lovely Power Poppy tulips and water colored them with Stampin Up markers. The background stamp is by My Favorite Things.  Dessert is to use a die cut, which is an easy one and I added a seam binding bow.

Birthday from the Herd

This is my entry for the My Favorite Things Sketch challenge 272.

I used the MFT The Whole Herd stamp set for this one colored with Copic markers, along with the Radiant Sun Die-namics, and Puffy Cloud Die-namics.  For the background, I used the MFT Paper Grid paper pack and the Farm Fence Die-namics.

Dinosaur Birthday

I'm playing along with the My Favorite Things Color Challenge today. The colors are Daffodil, Gumdrop Green, Sour Apple, Biscotti.

I decided to make a birthday card with the new Prehistoric Fun stamp set.  I water colored the images with Stampin Up markers and layered them on a mountain background made with the Stitched Mountain Range Die-namics on corrugated cardboard.  The frame was made with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame Die-namics.  I added a Radiant Sun Die-namics and Stitched Scallop Edges.  The background pieces were stamped with various MFT background stamps and I used the Happy Birthday greeting from the MFT PI- Birthday Girl set.

Garden Flowers

I'm playing along today with the Splitcoaststampers color challenge: Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Crisp Canteloupe.

It's really fun to ink up my large Stampendous stamps and let them take over the card.  This time I used the Jumbo Lovely Garden stamp set heat embossed and colored with Stampin Up markers.  The background was stamped with a My Favorite Things Garden Flourish Background stamp.  I added a tag with a greeting by Power Poppy and a sweet doily die.  I can't get enough of corrugated cardboard, so I added a strip here and topped it all off with a seam binding ribbon.

Best Wishes

I'm playing in two challenges today, the Splitcoaststampers Color and Sketch Challenges.

The color challenge this week is a bingo challenge and I chose the colors Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry,Wisteria Wonder, Soft Suede.
I love using my corragated cardboard, it adds such a fun element.  I water colored my Power Poppy flowers with Stampin Up markers  and made the background paper with the My Favorite Things Lace Background stamp, both sponged, as well as the Best wishes tag.  All of the dies are MFT die-namics and I added a seam binding ribbon to finish it off.

For the Sketch Challenge, I used the beautiful rose from the Power Poppy My English Rose stamp set.  I also water colored this one with Stampin Up markers and cut out, it's layered on a MFT flourish die.  The doily die is Cheery Lynn and the label is from Justrite Stamps.

Thinking of You

I'm playing in the Splitcoaststampers sketch and inspiration challenges this week.

I heat embossed and colored this lovely magnolia from the Power Poppy Planning for Magnolias stamp set with Stampin Up markers and  a water pen. Dry embossing, designer paper and corregated papers were added as well as My Favorite Things die-namics, button, and twine.  I'm not sure of the maker of the lace border die.
