Hi Friends!
It's time for some inspiration and a new release today on the Heartfelt Creations Blog, stop by when you have a few minutes to peruse the gorgeous creations of the design team and see the beautiful sentiment stamps and wonderful dies that are available now.

For my card today, I'm showcasing the beautiful new sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Celebrate Love Sentiments set, it's cut out using dies from the Ornamental Tags Die set.

The beautiful designer paper used here is from the Oakberry Lane Paper Collection and the flowers were made with the Oakberry Lane Blossoms set and sculpted with the 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold.

The flowers were stamped in Stazon - Iris, and sponged with Bamboo Leaves and Lulu Lavender, then more Iris was sponged around the edges ot the petals. Prills were added to the flower centers and lots of Crystal Clear glitter as added for sparkle.  The leaves, from the same set, were stamped in Bamboo Leaves and sponged with Bamboo Leaves and Lulu Lavender, then Library Green sponged around the outside of the leaves.

The inside of the card was decorated with more Oakberry Lane paper and another sentiment from the Celebrate Love Sentiment set on more of the Eyelet Hearts Dies.

Checking in today with a card for the My Favorite Things Sketch.

My card today was made with the new MFT Woodland Friends stamp and die sets, as well as a couple MFT background stamps and die-namics.

The images were colored with copic markers and popped up with foam tape.

The SCS sketch challenge is a fun one today, its to make a long card.

For the challenge, I created my own designer paper with the new Stampin Up First Frost stamps, the images were stamped in Crisp Canteloupe, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green. A bouquet was created on top with the same stamps and dies.  The twine and small label die are by MFT. 

The wood grain panel was created with the SU Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  Basic Gray and Crisp Cantaloupe ink pads were dragged across white card stock and then embossed with the folder, afterwords the Basic Gray was rubbed across the paper to bring out the wood highlights.

The SU Corrugated Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder is definitely my new favorite, it gives such amazing texture!  I used dark gray card stock with it, and also for my mat.

Such a fun card to make!

Squirrel Friends

Howdy Friends!
It's that time of the week for the Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Blog! Please join us today, the blog is full on wonderful inspiration!

As with last week, I'm playing around with the wonderful squirrels from the Furry-tailed Frolic Stamp and Die sets.  I colored these, as well as the acorn from the Oakberry Cottage & Sentiments set with Zig Markers.  The background papers are from the Oakberry Lane Paper Collection, and I created a scene using the trees from the Woodsy Treescape set and the wildflowers from the Backyard Blossoms set, the trees were sponged with Bamboo Leaves and the wildflowers with Cactus Flower.

The new Oakberry Lane Blossoms were stamped in Stazon Iris and sponged with Lulu Lavender and Bamboo Leaves,  all the flowers and leaves were sculpted with the 3d Blossoms Shaping Mold,  prills added to the centers, and Crystal Clear glitter added for lots of sparkle.

The lace trim was created with the Sweetheart Borders Die, just the edge is peaking out.  The scalloped oval frame was created with the Eyelet Oval & Basics Large and Small Dies.

Greetings Friends!
It's that wonderful time of the week when we celebrate inspiration and the wonderful release of the Oakberry Lane Collection on the Heartfelt Creations Blog.

The new release is filled with the cutest squirrels, this is my favorite, in his little tire swing, colored with Zig markers.  Also in the new release, are these gorgeous flowers and leaves from the Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamps and Dies.  I stamped and sponged mine with Memento Lulu Lavender and Archival Forget-Me-Not (the centers were sponged with Bamboo Leaves), and sculpted them with the 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold, also available in the new release.  The leaves were stamped in Bamboo Leaves and sponged with Bamboo Leaves and Lulu Lavender. Lots of Crystal Clear glitter was added to the flowers for sparkle.

All of the designer paper you see here is from the Oakberry Lane Paper Collection.

So fun to mix the whimsical image of this sweet squirrel with the elegant flowers!

This adorable sentiment and scalloped circle die also come with the Furry-tailed Frolic Cling Stamp and Die sets.

I'm bringing a card for the MFT Color Challenge.  The colors are: Blue Yonder, Blue Breeze, Persimmon and Kraft.

For my card, I inked up the MFT Safari Friends lion.  All of the dies and stamps used are by My Favorite Things.  The background was sponged and the images colored with copic markers.

Fall Forest

Happy Wednesday,
It's the time of the week for inspiration on the Heartfelt Creations Blog, be sure and stop by to see all of the beautiful creations displayed there today!

As the kids get ready to head back to school, there's a bit of that fall feeling in the air and I thought it would be fun to create a fun Autumn scene using a 6x6 shadow box from the Heartfelt Creations 6x6 Foldout Cards - Kraft set.  A tutorial on making the shadowboxes can be found here: https://youtu.be/DrMIKI-XTmI.

For my shadowbox scene, I used the Woodsy Critters, Woodsy Treescape, Woodsy Wonderland, Backyard Blossoms, Merry and Bright Accents, Snowy Pine Village and Beary Fun Retreat sets to create a cheery forest.  All of the images were sponged in ink, (see inks used in supplies list) with small details colored with colored pencils.

Glue was sponged over the flowers and Crystal Clear glitter was added for sparkle.

The sunflowers were created with the Classic Sunflower set.  The flowers were sculpted with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and Espress-O Yourself prills added to the centers. Lots of glitter was added to the flowers.

I added a card back to the shadowbox so it would stand, and I could add a sentiment inside.
