Starry Nativity

Such a fun sketch today that I had to use it one more time.

For this card I used the Sweet n Sassy Stamps Joy to the World stamp set which was colored with SU blendabilities alcohol markers.  The large star is from the Sizzix Stars, Primitive die and the smaller are MFT dies.  The background was created with a MFT plaid background stamp and a piece of corrugated cardstock for the top.  The curved lace die was also used in my first card today, the Heartfelt Creations Fleur Border Basics dies.

Christmas Chickadee

Hi there!

For my card today, I used the SCS Sketch Challenge.

For the sketch, I heat embossed the wonderful chickadee from the Power Poppy Tweet Tidings stamp set and water colored him with SU markers.

The background was created with a Christmas DP and a wood grain embossed piece of Kraft.  The lacy border was created with the Heartfelt Creations Fleur Border Basics Die.

The poinsettia bouquet was made with the Cottage Cutz Holiday Greenery die and the little tag is by My Favorite Things and was stamped with a greeting from the Power Poppy Wreaths Plain and Fancy stamp set.

Blue Frosty

The SCS Color Challenge colors are:

The snowman was stamped with the Power Poppy Snow Kissed Stamp Set and heat embossed and water colored with SU markers.  The snowflake is from the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Lace Die, the border die is by Spellbinders and the background was stamped with snowflakes from the same stamp set.

Puppy Christmas

Here's my contribution for this week's MFT Sketch.

I colored up this cute pup from the MFT BB Happy Pawlidays set with colored pencils and a pencil blending pen.  All of the papers and dies are also from MFT.

Beary Special

I'm playing today in the SCS Ways to Use It Challenge - Food, and the MFT Color challenge.

I used the MFT BB Birthday Bears, colored with copic markers and used a verity of MFT dies along with some Nuvo crystal drops.

Anniversary Heart

Great technique challenge this week at SCS, it's called Polished Stone.

For the challenge I used Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler with Wink of Stella.  The hearts were cut out with MFT heart die-namics and the sentiment and hearts from the Verve Love Everlasting stamp set were stamped in black and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dark Walnut were added for accent.

The large Cheery Lynn flourish die was cut out twice in black and added behind the heart.

A band of dark brown card stock was dry embossed and Nuvo Gold Embellishment Mousse was spread over to add to the dimension.

Foam Floral

I made this for several challenges: The SCS Sketch, Free 4 All, and Inspiration Challenges.

The Free 4 All challenge was to use multiple layers and I chose this for my inspiration.  The background was created with papers from the Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose Collection.  For the bottom piece, I dry embossed a piece of lavender card stock and rubbed on Nuvo Lilac Lavender Mousse.

The lattice was created with the HFC Decorative Oval Die and topped with a scalloped circle made with the HFC Eyelet Circle & Basics Dies.

The flowers were made with Heartfelt Creations Art Foam Paper.  The white flower was stamped in mustard archival with the HFC Enchanted Mum stamp and die and colored with Gallery Artist's soft oil pastels.  The lavender flowers were made with the HFC Botanical Rose stamps and dies and stamens were added to all.  The tag is from a HFC paper pad and the enamel dots were created with Nuvo crystal drops.
