Christmas Lantern

Hi there,
Today I'm playing along with the SCS Technique Challenge and the Featured Stamper challenge.

Our featured stamper this week is Andrea and you can find the card I chose to case here, it fit perfectly with the Watercolor Imprint technique challenge.  I began with a holly stencil and peacock feathers distress ink.  After cutting the circle, I added a HFC Large Elegant Word Background stamp to the center circle and raised the frame with foam tape for dimension.  The images are from the Heartfelt Creations Festive Holly Collection and the sentiment is from the Celebrate the Season Paper Collection.

The images were sponged with ink and accented with a dove blender pen.

Pale Poinsettias

Playing along with two challenges today, the SCS Ways to Use Leftovers and SCS Inspiration Challenge.

The inspiration I chose can be found here.  I loved the silver and beautiful texture on the lamp and decided to mimic it on my background by brushing Nuvo Silver Mousse on an embossed piece of Steel Grey cardstock.  For the WT left-over challenge I added these mauvy pink poinsettias made with the Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia stamps and dies.  The poinsettias were sponged with ink and covered with Creatology Glitter from Michaels.

The sentiment is from the HFC Celebrate the Season stamp set on an MFT stitched banner die.  The holly branch is Winter Branch by Die-namites.

Foam Floral

I made this for several challenges: The SCS Sketch, Free 4 All, and Inspiration Challenges.

The Free 4 All challenge was to use multiple layers and I chose this for my inspiration.  The background was created with papers from the Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose Collection.  For the bottom piece, I dry embossed a piece of lavender card stock and rubbed on Nuvo Lilac Lavender Mousse.

The lattice was created with the HFC Decorative Oval Die and topped with a scalloped circle made with the HFC Eyelet Circle & Basics Dies.

The flowers were made with Heartfelt Creations Art Foam Paper.  The white flower was stamped in mustard archival with the HFC Enchanted Mum stamp and die and colored with Gallery Artist's soft oil pastels.  The lavender flowers were made with the HFC Botanical Rose stamps and dies and stamens were added to all.  The tag is from a HFC paper pad and the enamel dots were created with Nuvo crystal drops.
