Out of the Box Safari

I'm playing along today in the SCS Free for All - Zebra Challenge and the MFT Sketch 378.

For the challenges, I colored the images from the MFT Sweet Safari stamp set with copics and used MFT Die-namics, MFT paper pads, and enamel dots to complete the sketch.

Thinking of You Today

The SCS Color Challenge colors this week are:
Old OliveDaffodil Delight
Pink Pirouette

For the challenge, I created my own background paper using the Heartfelt Creations Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp Set and SU Powder Pink Ink.  The large flowers and leaves were created with the HFC Large Sweet Peony Cling Stamps and Dies, the small yellow flowers made with the HFC Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and Die sets.   The small leaves were made with the HFC Rain Boots and Blossoms Cling Stamp and Die sets, and a die from the HFC Window Box Elements Die set is in the back.

The sentiment was cut from the HFC Sweet Peony Paper Collection.

Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear glitter was added to the peonies.

Dino Love

Today I'm participating in the MFT Sketch 377.

I have a grandson on the way, and thought the sketch would be a great way to add to my stash of baby boy cards.

I used the Die-namics Mod Rectangle Stax to cut out my stitched backgrounds and stamped them with MFT background stamps.  The images from the MFT You're Rawr-some stamp set were water colored on watercolor paper with Zig Brush pens and the sentiment was stamped in black with MFT sentiment block stamps.

Pale Pink Peonies

The SCS Inspiration Challenge this week is the Rosenberry Rooms Site.

The inspiration I chose can be found here.  For the background, I stamped peonies from the Heartfelt Creations Peony Bud and Blossom in MFT Grout Gray ink on white cardstock.  The peonies were made from the HFC Large Peony Stamp and Die sets, the stamens are from the HFC Sunrise Lily Die set and were topped with yellow prills.  The leaves are also from the Large Peony set and the pom poms are from the HFC Rain Boots and Blossoms set.

The bow was made with seam binding ribbon and the sentiment is from a HFC paper pad.

Blue Peonies

I'm playing along today with the SCS Sketch.

For the background papers and sentiment, I used the Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilac and Sweet Peony Paper Collections.  I know that peonies aren't usually blue, but I thought this would be a good color combo. The peonies were stamped and cut out with the HFC Large Sweet Peony Stamps and Dies and sponged with Memento Summer Sky and Cantaloupe inks, then covered with Rajni Chawla's Frosting Power.

The leaves are from the HFC Classic Rose stamp and die sets and from the HFC Simply Classic Stamps and dies and were sponged in Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.
