It's Your Birthday

I'm playing along with the SCS Sketch today.

I decided to make a flowing floral spray for the sketch using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Petunia Collection stamps and dies.  Using paper from the  HFC Raindrops on Roses Paper Collection, I added an elegant border die in white cardstock from the Elegant Border Basics Dies.  The top and bottom lace was created with the HFC Sweetheart Borders and the banner was cut out from with a MFT die, the sentiment is also from the Petunia collection.

The flowers were sponged with lime and SU Blackberry Bliss ink and sculpted with the HFC 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold, then yellow prills were added to the centers and sponged with glue and covered in glitter.

The verse is from the HFC Words of Comfort Stamp set and was cut out with an MFT stitched oval die and mounted on a Spellbinder decorative oval.  The banner was created with the HFC Banners of Love Cling Stamp Set.

Merry & Bright

The SCS Ways to Use It Challenge is to use two different mediums to color your image.

The two mediums I chose were water color and Stampin Up markers. I started by heat embossing this sweet bird from the Power Poppy Tweet Tidings Stamp Set and coloring with markers, then water coloring the background with water color paint and brush, the sentiment is from the same stamp set.

All of the dies are from MFT die-namics.

The poinsettias were created with the HFC Poinsettia and Holly Clusters, sculpted with the HFC 3D Poinsettia Shaping Mold, with prills in the centers and Stickles glue to give sparkle, the cardinal image was also accented with Stickles.  For a touch of silver, I added sprigs of silver mistletoe made with the HFC Window Box Fillers die cut out of silver glitter paper.

Winter Window

I'm playing along today in the SCS Sketch challenge.

I created a window and used a panel from the Heartfelt Creations Festive Holly Paper Collection for the cabin image.  Because of the size of the panel, I created my own window so that more of the panel would show, I also added lots of Stickles glitter to give it lots of sparkle.  The sentiment is also from the same paper collection.  The background was embossed with an inked wood grain embossing folder.

The holly is from the HFC Festive Holly & Cardinals stamps and dies and the image was sponged with ink.

Birthday Roses

The SCS Sketch can be found here.

For the sketch, I started with the Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses paper collection, which were used in all the paper panels.  The roses were sponged in Color Box Dark Peony and MFT Sour Apple and sculpted in the HFC 3D Rose Shaping Mold.

The center oval was cut out of a paper panel and placed on a HFC Eyelet Oval & Basics die.  The left panels were dry embossed with embossing folders.

Framed Deer

The SCS Featured Stamper of the week is Donna aka Krashscrapper.

I chose this adorable card of hers to case.  I love the deer and wonderful country feel of the wood frame.  I used a piece of designer paper with birch trees for the background and a deer die that I purchased from Amazon.  The frame was also created with designer paper that was raised with foam tape for dimension.  The poinsettias were heat embossed in silver with the Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia stamps and dies and the holly was made with the HFC Festive Holly stamps and dies.  The sprigs of greenery are dies from Wplus9.

The sentiment from the HFC Celebrate the Season Ornate Sleigh set was stamped on an MFT die.
