Birthday Cupcakes

I've had such a great time making sweet scenes with my My Favorite Things stamp sets, it's been such a blast, and I've made another one today for the MFT Card Design Superstar challenge found here.

For the challenge I wanted to use my sweet Birdie Brown set Sweet Birthday Wishes and threw in my Ragdoll, Bruce to sit in the window, he's made with the BB I Knead You set.  I started with a pallet of MFT Summer Splash, Whip Cream and Grapescicle.  The BG was cut out with the stitched square from the Blueprints 8 Die-namics and stamped with the MFT Gingham Background stamp (my all time favorite background stamp), the lace edge was made with the MFT Stitched Scalloped Edges.  I framed off part of my scene with the medium die in the Stitched Rectangle Frames set and the Fine Chevron BGand added the Die-namics Window, with a shade made from the lace border in Die-namics Bluepints 14,  The images were colored with Copic markers on watercolor paper and the window was sponged with Sno Cone ink.  The greeting was stamped on the stitched banner from the Blueprints 20 set.

A little closer look.

Here's a peak at the inside of the card made with the Die-namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax.

Blessings,
