County Cottage

The SCS Free 4 All challenge is to use nontraditional fall colors.

I started with a card base of paper from the Heartfelt Creations Woodsy Wonderland paper collection and trees, flowers and critters stamps and dies from the same collection, all were colored by sponging them with ink.   For my unusual fall color, I sponged the tree leaves with SU Blackberry Bliss ink.  The raccoon,  and the truck from the HFC Simply Classic stamp and die set were heat embossed and the truck was water colored with Zig Clean Brush markers.

The leaves and flowers were sponged with glue and sprinkled with Crystal Clear glitter.

Let the Good Times Roll

The SCS Color Challenge colors are:

Rich Razzleberry
Night of Navy
Bermuda Bay

For the Color Challenge, I inked the MFT background stamp with MFT After Midnight ink and stamped it on the frame of SU Bermuda Bay.  The frame was lifted with foam tape over the Heartfelt Creations Young At Heart paper.  The truck is from the HFC Simply Classic stamp and die sets and was heat embossed and water colored with Zig Color Brush markers, the flowers created with the HFC Wildwood Florals with Gala Glitz - Mauvie centers. The Journey sentiment from the Young at Heart collection was heat embossed and sponged, and the fence is from the HFC Wildwood Cottage collection.

Precious Little One

This card was made with the SCS sketch using the TLC challenge - Acrylic Batik.

The Acrylic Batik technique was used to create the background using green acrylic paint and a polka dot background stamp by MFT.  The sweet vintage baby image was found on the internet and I added lots of flowers made with the Heartfelt Creations Berry Blooms stamps and dies with Heart of Gold prill centers, the leaves were made with HFC Wildwood Florals stamps and dies and sponged with Momento Bamboo Leaves ink.  The large lace border is by Spellbinders.

The sweet little sentiment is from the Verve To The Moon stamp set and was stamped on a little tag die by MFT, then raised with foam tape.

Country Christmas

The SCS Inspiration Challenge is the Victorian Trading Company, here are the ornaments I used for inspiration.

For the background, I used the cabin paper from the Heartfelt Creations Winter's Eve Collection, adding accents of snow with the DecoArt Snow Writer and a layer of Frosting Powder.  The poinsettias were made with the flowers and holly stamps and dies in the HFC Ornate Sleigh Set with yellow prills for the centers.  The larger holly and cardinals are from the HFC Festive Holly & Cardinals stamps and dies and all of the foliage was colored with ink pads and daubers.

The snowy tree in the front was created with the HFC Snow Kissed Spruce stamps and dies, and lots of snow and glitter added.

A ticket from the HFC Festive Holly paper collection was added to the top.

The truck from the soon to be released HFC Simply Classic stamp and die set, was heat embossed on water color paper and water colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  A tree from the HFC Woodsy Wonderland Woodsy Critters stamp and die set was added to the truck bed, along with a small poinsettia and two mistletoe branches from the HFC Window Box Fillers stamp and die set.

Sunshine

The SCS Color Challenge colors are:

peek-a-boo peach
early espresso
lemon lime twist

and the background was made using yesterday's technique challenge - Acrylic Distress.

I made several backgrounds yesterday for the technique challenge and this one happened to work out for today's color challenge.  The scalloped oval was made with the Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Oval & Basics Large, the center was sponged in Peekaboo Peach and vintage photo inks.  The espresso flourish is from the HFC Cut mat Create 2A die set and the roses and leaves were made with the HFC Classic Rose stamps and dies.  The roses were stamped in Peekaboo Peach and the centers sponged with Lemon Lime Twist, the leaves were stamped in LLT and the centers sponged with Peekaboo Peach.

Lots of glitter was added for sparkle and a sentiment  was also added from a HFC paper pad.
