Purple Lilies

The SCS Ways to Use it Challenge is to give old products a second chance.

Old supplies used:
Retired SU card stock Blackberry Bliss
Retired Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses paper
Super Bronze powder used with Versamark on the dry embossing
Sizzix Flourish


The lace border was made with the HFC Fleur Border Basics die, the lilies are from the HFC Sunrise Lily, I had extra left over from yesterday's card.  The small lavender flowers were made with the HFC Classic Rose stamps and dies and the lilacs and leaves were made with the HFC Rain Boots and Blossoms.


The stamens were dipped in gold glitter and the flowers were sponged with glue and lots of clear glitter added.

Love

The SCS Color challenge colors this week are:
Real Red
Whisper White
Silver
the dessert this week is a Valentine


For my Valentine, I started with a background of white card stock, dry embossed and sponged with red.  I also embossed a strip of red and sponged it with my red ink pad, the lacy border was cut out of the HFC Sweetheart Borders Die.  The love die cuts and leaves were cut out of MFT Silver Sparkle Card Stock, the love sentiment is the Heartfelt Creations Banners of Love Die and the leaves were cut with the HFC Classic Rose Die.  The hearts were created with the HFC Eyelet Hearts Die and stamped with the HFC Love Sentiments.  




The roses were made with the HFC Classic Rose Stamps and Dies, sponged in red, sculpted with the HFC 3D Rose Shaping Mold and frosted with glitter.

Pink Valentine

The SCS Color Challenge Colors are: 
Blushing Bride
Pear Pizzazz
and Pink Pirouette
with lace for dessert


Such fun colors this week, perfect for a Valentine card!  I started with paper from the Heartfelt Creations Heartfelt Love Paper Collection, and used the HFC Decorative Medallion Die to cut out the bottom section of the card and create the lace piece that covers the lower half of the card.


The soft pink flowers were created with the HFC Small Camelia Carnation stamps and dies, with green stamens added to the centers and lots of glitter added.  The leaves were made with the leaf in the HFC Classic Rose Stamps and dies.



The heart was created with the HFC Eyelet Hearts Die, sponged and stamped with the Valentine's sentiment from the HFC Love Sentiments set.

Lily Corsage

I'm playing along with the SCS Sketch today.


For the background, I stamped the lilac from the Heartfelt Creations Rain Boots and Blossoms stamp and die sets in SU Blackberry Bliss on designer paper from the HFC Classic Rose Paper Collection, more of the lilacs and leafy branches from this set were stamped in black and sponged with ink and added to the bouquet.


The lilies are from the HFC Sunrise Lily stamps and die sets, the were sponged with ink, cut out with the matching dies,  and sculpted with the HFC 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold.  The stamens (from the lily die set) were cut out with dark green, glue added to the tips and they were dipped in gold glitter.


The small blue flowers were created with the HFC Classic Rose Stamps and Dies, sculpted with the HFC 3D  Rose Shaping Mold, and small yellow stamens added to the centers.  The sentiment is from  HFC designer paper.

Boot Bouquet


The SCS Ways to Use It Challenge is to use your favorite resist technique.


For the challenge, I chose the Ghost resist technique, I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Large Elegant Word Background on glossy cardstock with Versamark ink, then sponged with Distress Peacock Feathers Ink.  The rain boot and flowers are from the HFC Rainboots and Blossoms stamps and dies, they were sponged with ink and Stickles added to the flowers and dots.  The birds were cut out of the umbrella image from the HFC Songs of Spring stamps and dies and the sentiment is from the HFC Heartfelt Expressions stamp set, stamped on a banner die.


Dimension was added by sculpting the birds and blooms with a stylus.

Wonderful Day

Today I've been playing with the SCS Sketch Challenge.


I started with a base of designer paper from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Collection and added carnations from the HFC Camelia Carnation stamps and dies, sponged in soft green and lavendar and sculpted with the HFC 3D Floral Shaping Mold, and lots of glitter added.  The background sprigs are from the HFC Rainboots and Blossoms stamps and dies and were also sponged with ink to color.



The sentiment is from the HFC Heartfelt Love Sentiments stamp set.

Carnation Bouquet

I'm playing today in the SCS Ways to Use It - Circles Challenge.



I created the background with the Heartfelt Creations Large Elegant Word Background stamp and papers from the HFC Classic Petunia Collection.  The lacy doilies were created with a die from the HFC Raindrops on Roses die set, in black cardstock.  


The flowers were created with the HFC Small Camelia Carnation stamps and dies, which were stamped in bright pink and sponged, the centers were made with HFC Assorted Bead Stamens, the leaves are from the HFC Classic Roses set, the small petunias are from the HFC Large Classic Petunia set sponged in purple.

Roses and Lace

The SCS Color Challenge colors for the week are: 
Daffodil Delight
Berry Burst
Pool Party
Old Olive
with the dessert of Sparkle


What perfect colors for a floral card!  For my roses, I used the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamps and dies, sponged the petals with Daffodil Delight in the centers and Berry Burst around the edges, then sculpted them with the HFC 3D Rose Shaping Mold, the smaller roses were stamped with Pool Party and sponged with Daffodil Delight and Pool Party, then yellow stamens added to the centers.  The leaves are from the Classic Rose Collection too, and were also sculpted with the Shaping Mold.  For the background I dry embossed and distressed designer HFC paper and added flourishy lace with the HFC Sweetheart Borders Die, and a sweet banner made with the HFC Banners of Love stamp and die, it was sponged in the color challenge colors.



Last, but not least, I added a half ton of glitter to make everything sparkle!

Sugarplum Floral

I am so honored to be a guest designer this month with the SCS Color Challenge!

The colors this week are:

Sweet Sugarplum 

Chocolate Chip
Mint Macaron
with the dessert of using something new.


I dry embossed a bird embossing folder on chocolate cardstock and rubbed it with mint Nuvo Mousse.  For the dessert, which was to use something new, I used the Heartfelt Creations Small Camelia Carnation Stamps and Dies.  The leaves were created with the HFC Classic Rose Vines Stamp and die.  I also added a sentiment banner made with the HFC Banners of Love Cling Stamp and die.  All of the flowers, leaves and banner were colored by sponging with ink, and stamens added to the centers of the flowers.


The Sweet Sugarplum accent at the bottom was created with the HFC Window Box Elements die.
