With Love

I had a great time with the My Favorite Things Sketch 269 this week.
I combined the wonderful MFT Camilia, Layered Leaves and  Pierced Flourish Die-namics on a dry embossed background.  I also added a paper clip from the MFT Office Supplies Die-namics,enamel dots and a greeting on a flag from an older MFT stamp set.

Lilacs

Checking in for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge, this week's colors are Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.
I heat embossed and colored this pretty Just Rite Lilac with Stampin Up markers and layered on a Cheery Lynn Doily die. The paper clips, lock, key and tag accessories were made with MFT Die-namics.

Spice & the Recipe for Happiness

I'm posting two cards today for My Favorite Things Challenges using the new MFT Recipe for Happiness stamp set.
The first if for the MFT Color Challenge 39.

I colored up my sweet chef with copics and added the wonderful frame from the MFT Blueprints 19 die-namics, which I used in the card below also. I raised the frame with foam tape for dimension and used MFT background stamps for a little 'spice', as well as a stitched heart and flourish.

Stamps: MFT Recipe for Happiness, Gingham BG, Mini Hexagon BG.
MFT Die-namics: Recipe for Happiness, Blueprints 19 & 20, Stitched Heart stax, Fancy Flourish.

My second card is for this week's MFT Sketch 267. I had the other piece of the Blueprints 19 frame remaining from the above card, so I incorporated some blue and red, the red piece was stamped with the kitchen utensils from the stamp set and I added a little 'Fine Chevorn BG' on the tag, adding another flourish and gingham ribbon.
Stamps: MFT Recipe for Happiness, Mini Hexagon BG, Fine Chevron BG.
MFT Die-namics: Recipe for Happiness, Pierced Tag stax, Blueprints 19 & 20, Fancy Flourish.

Sending Hugs

I thought I'd make another card for the Power Poppy Power & Spark challenge using the Splitcoaststamper sketch.  The Power & Spark challenge is to use a different coloring method than you usually turn to.

For this one, I pulled out my re-inkers and waterpen on a heat embossed daffodil bouquet, I love the bright color they create!

Stamps: Power Poppy - Daffodils Stamp Set
Accessories: My Favorite Things Circle and banner die-namics, embossing folders, Magnolia lace border die, enamel dots, heat embossing, re-inkers.

Happy Wishes

I got the chance to color up one of my favorite images for the Power Poppy Power & Spark Challenge with the colors from this week's Splitcoaststampers color challenge.  This month the challenge is to use a different coloring medium than you usually pick.
I usually use my Stampin Up markers or Copic markers, so today I pulled out my Inktense pencils and water colored the camellias after heat embossing.

Stamps: Power Poppy Simply Camellias Stamp Set
Accessories: Spellbinder oval doily die, oval dies, MFT scalloped oval and flourish die-namic, Magnolia lace border die, embossing folders, heat embossing, foam tape, Inktense pencils.
