I love making whimsical cards, I can't help but feel cheerful when working with beautiful bright colors and coloring adorable images, like this bird and cupcake from Inky Antics.  I colored them with Tombow markers and added foam tape for dimension.
The designer paper is by Crate Paper and I embossed all with embossing folders. I added a My Favorite Things lace oval die and lace edge die, two Clear Dollar Stanps labels behind the sentiment, and Spellbinder oval and scalloped oval.  The sentiment is by Sweet N Sassy. TFL!!

I made this for the week 2 Verve October sketch  and this weeks Way to Use - Pink challenges over at SplitcoastStampers.com. The Spellbinders scalloped hearts are placed on a Marianne scalloped circle die. The rose was made with the new SB Spiral Blossom 1 and the leaves were made with the Verve leaf stamp and die.  I added seam binding ribbon, a My Mind's Eye brad,  and a Verve sentiment. TFL!!

I've been fighting sinus conjestion this week and this My Favorite Things Fred Bear image alway cheers me up, so I had to bring it out for this week's sketch challenge (https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/?cat=18).  I colored Fred (https://www.mftstamps.com/)with copics and used the sentiment from the MFT 'Apple for You' set. The paper is from My Mind's Eye and I embossed with embossing folders, the strip behind Fred includes a MFT scalloped scallop die, and a Magnolia lace edge die.  The sweet little flower is also a MFT die with a Stampin Up button in the center. Thanks for looking!!

I made this for this week's sketch and it also fits the color challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/.  I've been excited to use this beautiful Mark's Finest Papers basket of leaves (Autumn Fun) http://www.marksfinestpapers.com/servlet/the-Stamp-Sets/Categories and these were the perfect challenges for it. I heat embossed and colored with Tombow markers and raised each layer with foam tape for dimension.
I added Magnolia lace edge dies on both sides of the corregated piece and the sentiment is on two Verve label dies. The rest of the dies are Spellbinders. Thanks for looking and God Bless!!

This is my first challenge as a member of the Friends of Speedy Cat Design Team, so exciting! Our challenge this week is to make a masculine card, join us here: http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com/.
I admit that I have a hard time not adding flowers to cards, even masculine ones, do dandelions count as flowers? lol!! I thought I'd make them a subtle backdrop for the butterfly.  I heat embossed the image and colored with copics, I added a pre-corregated panel and a brick wall embossing folder. The beautiful dandelion, butterfly, and sentiment are all by Mark's Finest Papers, http://www.marksfinestpapers.com/servlet/StoreFront.
Thanks for taking a look!

It's been a while since I posted to the blog, work has been really hectic and I've been thankful just to get a couple cards made it the last couple weeks.
I made this for the Verve October week 1 sketch.  I heat embossed this Verve verse and made a homemade flower (spritzed with water and scrunched) with the Verve Floral Circles dies and Leafy Sprigs. The vertical lace in newsprint was made with a Magnolia lace edge die and the bottom lace threaded with seam binding ribbon is a Marianne lace edge die.
I've been excited to use this Authentique dp and embossed with embossing folders.
