I thought it would be fun to stamp this gorgeous Mark's Finest Papers butterfly stamp on tissue, this was my first try and I liked it so much that I went with it. I kept a few wrinkles in the tissue for a bit of character. I cut a circle with a Spellbinder die in the top layer of designer paper and a smaller circle in the next layer of dark grey color cardstock and raised these with foam tap over the butterflies on tissue, this gives some extra depth to the card. The flower and flourish are also Spellbinder dies, and I used a small sun punch for the flower center with a brad to hold it all together.

Gorgeous colours and pretty card.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous and so cleverly done! The tissue is an excellent choice to use with butterfly wings which are so delicate and sometimes look a little crumpled. Love it! TFS!
