ODBDSLC213 - Stitches part 2

The Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs this week is the second week to create a card with stitching, real or faux .  Join us here for all of the details.

I made a variety of Spellbinder flowers for this one with a sun punch for the centers and added a flourish and leaves from the Our Daily Bread Designs Fancy Foliage set.  The beautiful verse was stamped on a Vintage Label die and I traced the die in black to make a slightly bigger version to frame my verse.  The background was stamped with the wonderful new doily stamp from the Birthday Doily set in yellow and added some stitching along the side.

    Oh, DJ, what a beautiful card with gorgeous colors! I love your spray of flowers and the wonderful hand stitching on the side! Beautiful background with the doily image stamped, and it all really showcases this wonderful and comforting Scripture verse! Hugs, sweet friend!

    Absolutely gorgeous card DJ. LOVE the colours and the flowers are so pretty! The stitching on the side is gorgeous too - love it!
