Happy Tuesday everyone!! The Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge is a color challenge of Red, Pink, and White, join us here for more details on the challenge.
My daughter recently went off to college in North Dakota so I've been making her a card every week for encouragement, I've also been including a hand written letter, we text many times a day, but the letters will last forever! For this week's card, I picked this wonderful verse, Proverbs 3 a stamp by ODBD, it's perfect for my hopes for her future! I lined the verse with Spellbinder roses and two wonderful flourishes from the ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage Die set.

Beautiful card DJ! Love that verse too and the flowers are gorgeous! It must be hard sending your daughter off to college (something I'm sure I'll deal with in later years (my two are only just starting school)). What a beautiful thing to send your daughter cards and letters of encouragement! I remember my mum doing the same thing! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteOh, DJ, what a special idea and one that will last forever to send hand-written notes to your daughter! I love this card, especially since it has my favorite verse on it! And I love how you've used the pink, red, and white theme! She is going to cherish it! You are a precious mom, for sure! Warm hugs, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteDJ, love that BG. So sweet, all those little baby flowers! I love that verse too and your formed flowers are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful in design and as a blessed keepsake for your daughter!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - one of the verses we learned and good to be reminded of at whatever stage in your life you have reached.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to show your daughter love! Beautiful idea; I love handwritten notes and letters - they do last. Lovely card, especially how the large flowers echo the dp!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is going to love it! Such inspiration
