Fall Forest

Happy Wednesday,
It's the time of the week for inspiration on the Heartfelt Creations Blog, be sure and stop by to see all of the beautiful creations displayed there today!

As the kids get ready to head back to school, there's a bit of that fall feeling in the air and I thought it would be fun to create a fun Autumn scene using a 6x6 shadow box from the Heartfelt Creations 6x6 Foldout Cards - Kraft set.  A tutorial on making the shadowboxes can be found here: https://youtu.be/DrMIKI-XTmI.

For my shadowbox scene, I used the Woodsy Critters, Woodsy Treescape, Woodsy Wonderland, Backyard Blossoms, Merry and Bright Accents, Snowy Pine Village and Beary Fun Retreat sets to create a cheery forest.  All of the images were sponged in ink, (see inks used in supplies list) with small details colored with colored pencils.

Glue was sponged over the flowers and Crystal Clear glitter was added for sparkle.

The sunflowers were created with the Classic Sunflower set.  The flowers were sculpted with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and Espress-O Yourself prills added to the centers. Lots of glitter was added to the flowers.

I added a card back to the shadowbox so it would stand, and I could add a sentiment inside.
